Science Forum - On Line Abstract Submission Tool

The Science Forum is FDA's key scientific meeting that seeks to communicate and promote scientific issues relating to scientific development and associated regulatory concerns. Open to the public, the Forum is designed to bring FDA scientists together with representatives from industry, academia, government agencies, consumer groups, and international constituents to explore science across the boundaries of these groups.

Using GNSI’s Online Abstract Submission system, scientists from across the FDA were able to electronically submit poster abstracts for the FDA 9th Annual Science Forum for publication in the conference proceedings. This Online Abstract Submission application featured a Java applet that allowed users to enter or paste scientific formatted text, including non-standard symbols, directly into the system, thereby significantly decreasing errors, as well as the amount of time spent preparing abstracts for publication.
