GlobalNet Services Receives Award on $20.0 Billion NIH CIO-SP3 Small Business GWAC
GlobalNet Services, Inc., (GNSI) has received an award as a prime contractor on the Chief Information Officer Special Programs 3 (CIO-SP3) Small Business vehicle. CIO-SP3 Small Business is a government-wide acquisition contract from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that can be used by federal civilian or Department of Defense agencies to fulfill a broad range of mission critical IT requirements. CIO-SP3 prime contractors went through a rigorous source selection process prior to award, which included dimensions such as technical capabilities, past performance, price and cost. The contract is valued at $20.0 Billion over a ten-year period.
President and CEO of GNSI, Ori Reiss, was delighted to receive the notice. “We are honored that NIH has selected GNSI to be on the exclusive list of contractors chosen for CIO-SP3 Small Business. We look forward to providing new and existing federal customers with the high quality and innovative services that have made us successful”
GNSI’s award as a prime contractor included all 7 task areas for which the company submitted a proposal. These include: IT Services for Biomedical Research, Health Sciences, and Healthcare; Chief Information Officer Support; Outsourcing; IT Operations and Maintenance; Integration Services; Digital Government, and; Software Development.
